The main character, Aylani, and her story is loosely based off of events in my life. I wrote this story to show people that no matter how close to the deep end you may get, God has a way of bringing you back to yourself, and best of all him.

With only a few weeks left until graduation, Aylani Myers had managed to get through the last four years of college avoiding the party life, relationship drama and any other distractions attributed to “college life”. She was smart, goal driven and as confident as they came. But, one night her close friend convinced her that she’d earned a night out and that’s when she met Marcus.Marcus Baker was handsome, charming and everything Aylani never knew she needed. After that chance meeting, Aylani and Marcus began what started out as a whirlwind romance. But soon, it evolved into a torrid love affair when the truth about Marcus and things from his past surfaced and Marcus did something to shatter Aylani‘s trust. Believing that love would conquer all, Aylani did everything in her power to make things right. As the lengths she went through to keep her relationship together became greater, Aylani discovered parts of herself she never knew existed; the hidden parts. The crazy parts where a new Aylani emerged and she was drawn down a dark path that changed her life forever.
